The team at i3 Digital is celebrating yet another hat-trick of “Appys”, received at Ireland’s Oscars for the app industry on Thursday 19th November.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the company has been recognised at the awards. i3 Digital designs, builds and manages high-level integrated apps and websites for organisations across the public and private sectors, and this capability was reflected in the three awards on the night. The Woo Pass app, which is being used in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts, picked up a silver award for the “Most Useful Business App”, and bronze in the “Best Travel & Tourism App” categories.
The big winner on the night was an app that i3 Digital developed for Carecall, a commercial subsidiary of the Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health. The app supports the efforts of Carecall’s core team of counsellors and consultants who provide a comprehensive, tailored service with a focus on improving the mental wellbeing of individuals and organisations. Collectively, Carecall promotes positive personal wellbeing to over 500,000 employees and students across the UK and Ireland. The i3 Digital team developed a mobile application encouraging users to engage with mental health issues, testing their level of anxiety via Apple iOS and Android OS devices. The solution operates while connected (online) or disconnected (offline) to an internet data gateway, 3G, 4G or Wireless.
It’s four years in a row now and we were just delighted to be shortlisted on the night, never thinking we would receive three awards!
