Established in 1974, Foran Healthcare has grown to become a market leader in the field of specialised animal nutrition and healthcare worldwide. Foran is owned by Connolly’s of Red Mills, www.redmills.ie, one of Irelands most successful animal nutrition businesses with annual revenues exceeding €100,000,000 per annum. The team at i3 Digital won the contract to deliver a B2B digital platform for Foran Pet Care Ltd.
Once the Connolly’s team were shown what Kentico EMS had to offer they decided to upgrade their license and moved up to Kentico’s EMS license offering. The Foran team wanted to track known and unknown user activity on the website to generate big picture understanding around usage patterns to help them understand their customers’ behaviours and wants. The team at Foran Pet Care were especially impressed by the Content Personalisation element of the EMS. With a number of various buyers, customer types, suppliers and partners using the one website, Foran recognised the benefits that content personalisation via Kentico’s EMS would provide.
The biggest challenge for this project was that this was the first time i3 Digital’s team had deployed Kentico’s e-commerce catalogue capability along with EMS functionality. The team at i3 Digital also had to look to the future and plan ahead for any complexities that would occur when it integrated into the organisation’s ERP system, which has been delivered on Oracle’s SAP platform. This was further complicated as Salesforce had been chosen as Foran’s new CRM, but had not yet been deployed.
i3 Digital provided a fully responsive web and marketing platform that exceeded every single requirement and challenge within Foran Pet Care’s specification. The design solution is innovative, massively engaging and is created around the parameters defined by Foran Pet Care and its brand guidelines. The solution includes page templates, fonts, colours, headings, data tables, custom forms, links, navigational elements, search elements, lists, and additional elements that were defined at project initiation. i3 Digital also provided user experience workshops on user personas, development, website navigation, wire-framing, design, structure and accessibility.
In the first 8 weeks of deployment, Foran acquired 20 new stockists. Online inquiries increased by 55% and over 1100 contacts have been made via Foran’s “Got a Question” feature. Additionally, the EMS facilities are already having huge benefits for the overall marketing capabilities within the company.
